Welcome to Gemba Hotel & Suites. These Terms of Service govern your use of our hotel services, website, and facilities. By making a reservation or using any of our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.
By accessing or using the services of Gemba Hotel & Suites (“the Hotel,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including our website, booking platform, and on-site amenities, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
Reservations can be made through our website, by phone, or through authorized travel agents and booking platforms. All reservations are subject to availability and confirmation. A valid credit or debit card is required to guarantee most reservations.
All rates are quoted in Nigerian Naira (₦) unless otherwise indicated. Rates are subject to applicable taxes, service charges, and any additional fees. Published rates may change without prior notice. The rate applicable to your stay is the rate confirmed at the time of booking.
A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of a confirmation email or reference number from the Hotel. Please verify all details in your confirmation and contact us immediately if any information is incorrect.
Cancellations made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled check-in date will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of check-in will be charged one night's room rate plus applicable taxes.
Guests who fail to check in on the scheduled arrival date without prior cancellation will be charged the full amount of the first night's stay. The remaining reservation will be cancelled unless the guest contacts the Hotel to confirm a late arrival.
Reservation modifications are subject to availability and may result in rate changes. Modified reservations will be governed by the terms and conditions applicable at the time of modification.
Standard check-in time is 2:00 PM and check-out time is 12:00 PM (noon). Early check-in and late check-out are available upon request and subject to availability, and may incur additional charges. All guests must present a valid government-issued photo identification and a valid credit or debit card at check-in. The minimum age for check-in is 18 years.
Guests are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that is respectful to other guests, staff, and the property. The Hotel reserves the right to refuse service or remove any guest whose conduct is deemed disruptive, dangerous, or in violation of these terms, without refund.
Guests are financially responsible for any loss of or damage to Hotel property caused by themselves, their guests, or persons for whom they are responsible. The Hotel reserves the right to charge the guest's credit card for any such damages.
Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas of the Hotel. Illegal activities, excessive noise disturbance (especially between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM), unauthorized commercial activities, and bringing pets without prior arrangement are strictly prohibited on Hotel premises.
While we strive to maintain all advertised services and amenities, certain facilities may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, seasonal operations, or circumstances beyond our control. The Hotel will make reasonable efforts to notify guests of any significant service disruptions in advance.
Our dining establishments have individual operating hours, dress codes, and reservation policies. Certain restaurants may require advance reservations. The Hotel reserves the right to refuse service in dining areas if the dress code or reservation requirements are not met.
Spa treatments are subject to availability and must be booked in advance. Cancellations less than 4 hours before a scheduled treatment may be charged the full treatment fee. Guests must disclose any medical conditions that may affect their spa experience.
The Hotel provides in-room safes and a front desk safe deposit service. We strongly recommend guests use these facilities for valuables. The Hotel shall not be liable for loss of or damage to guest property left in rooms, public areas, or vehicles, except where such loss or damage results from the Hotel's proven negligence.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Hotel, its owners, operators, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to such claim.
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, photographs, and software, is the property of Gemba Hotel & Suites or its content suppliers and is protected by Nigerian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content without our prior written consent.
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising from or relating to these terms or your stay at the Hotel shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation between the parties. If a resolution cannot be reached, such disputes shall be submitted to mediation and, if necessary, to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.
The Hotel reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage guests to review these terms periodically.
